Get into the practical side of non-duality with our Alan Watts workshops. There are many ways to obtain non-dual insight. Our workshops are focused on three types of practice: 1. Using conceptual thinking to get past conceptual thinking 2. Becoming better at following your intuition 3. Utilizing visualization to briefly perceive through the ego awake lens We cover real-life challenges in living life with a non-dual point of view. Friend João comes south !!!!! Don't know who João is? Well, we've prepared a whole event for you to get to know two of his facets. At 6:30 p.m., João will introduce us to the work he does at Microvida, in a talk on "Bokashi and the potential of Effective Microorganisms" for: - Revitalizing trees and plants - Soil and water regeneration and bioremediation - Ecological sanitation and composting - Biological treatment of cesspits, nitrates and effluents There will be a sharing of experiences of ecological sanitation in cowsheds in the Azores and summer festivals - with a vegetable garden using compost from dry toilets. Once the talk is over, João's transmutation process takes place. He reappears as a DJ with Fusion and takes us on a Tour of the World in 80 Rhythms, with a fusion of electro folk grooves. This is what we call the Feast of the Dead! Honoring traditions from here and there, we invite everyone to celebrate death and everything that comes from it! Doors open at 17:30. A week of films, debates and an exhibition, focusing on collective cinematographic practices and the political history of the Alentejo. The first Regenerative Entrepreneurship Fair
Regenerativa is organizing the first Regenerative Entrepreneurship Fair this Saturday, November 15, from 2pm to 6pm, at Espaço Nativa in São Luís, Odemira. The fair aims to give visibility to the entrepreneurial projects and businesses of the members of the Integral Cooperative regenerative, both those who are already established and making money through the cooperative, and those who are working independently, as well as those who are incubating ideas. It also aims to showcase reference projects in this area, from friends and partners we already know well and collaborate with. Another intention of this event is to gather information to be included in the catalog that we will produce and disseminate widely, presenting the web of our cooperative's entrepreneurial ecosystem. The program of the event is as follows: 14:00 - Opening of the Fair and Official Visit with institutional representatives and the media. 15:00 - Start of the workshops and hands-on activities, with the highlight being the workshop on 'Regenerative Entrepreneurship and Communication Strategies' with the cooperative's head of communication, Rafaela Leal 16:00 - Start of project/business presentation pitch on stage 17h00 - Artistic moment on stage 18h00 - Closing of the Fair During the event, it will be possible to have a drink and a snack at Café Nativa, shop at the Nativa grocery store, visit the Cowork Space and watch a presentation about the coop and the Entrepreneurs' Web, as well as consult the agenda of events at the Nativa Space and propose events to the coop. The Diary" exhibition
Dorota Podlaska is a Polish visual artist who has lived in the Alentejo for two years and enjoys telling her own story as well as listening to the voices of others, discovering different images, flavors and narratives. In this first exhibition at the Monte da Estrada School, Dorota presents a double series of pieces comprising the first and last works of her long artistic career, spanning more than 30 years. "The Diary" is a series of acrylic paintings created at the end of the 1990s, directly linked to her personal experiences. "The Travel Diary" is a series of sketchbooks in watercolor, produced from 2020 to the present and created during various trips to observe and record the beauty of the world. All the sketchbooks are hand-bound by her husband, Donald Taber. Admission free.

A week of films, debates and an exhibition, focusing on collective cinematographic practices and the political history of the Alentejo. Celebration of Native Forest Day
November 23rd is Autochthonous Forest Day, a date specially dedicated to the appreciation and protection of Portugal's native forest species. This celebration comes as an alternative to World Forest Day (March 21), adapted to the climatic conditions of our territory, which are more favorable to planting trees in autumn. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of the native forest and actively contribute to its recovery by planting native trees and shrubs. The action is part of the continuity of the work started by students from the municipality of Odemira, as part of the life Charcos project (life12nat/en/997), in an area previously occupied by the invasive species chorão-das-praias. Chess torneio
On November 30, an amateur chess tournament will be held in Odemira's public garden in front of the Mirabolante bookshop and café. This event is free and is aimed at children and adults who enjoy chess and want to spend a relaxed morning playing and, who knows, winning a prize at the end! The purpose of this tournament is to celebrate the skills of the students of the Mirabolante chess club. However, external participants are very welcome to take part. The A-More exhibition brings together the work of three friends, linked by territory and by their love of the materials they each handle: ceramics, wood and painting. Rita Morais, a ceramicist and woman of seven trades, created the Oficina do Barro in Monte da Estrada and has been working around the potter's wheel for 40 years. Samuel Gonçalves (Gaio) works with cork and wood, and he prefers olive wood for his work. Hanneke, or Anna from Holland, self-taught and an artist for life, works with various materials, but here she will show us her paintings and drawings. Not to be missed! Free admission.
