January 17th to 29th Art in the Holocaust" exhibition CAS - Library (Adult Sector) | Library Hours | School and general public An exhibition of works from the Yad Vashem collection, created during the Holocaust, between 1939 and 1945, by 20 Jewish artists. With different artistic styles, they represent aspects of the authors' lives, feelings and aspirations, and highlight the role of art as a form of resistance. January 19th and 30th Screening of the film "May your memory be love: the story of Ovadia Baruch" CAS - Auditorium | Time to be decided | Duration 47' | For 3rd cycle and secondary school students | By appointment: biblioteca@mun-sines.pt While a prisoner in Auschwitz, Ovadia met Aliza Tzarfati, a young Jewish woman from his homeland, and despite the inhumane conditions, a love story was born between them. The film tells this story of love and survival in Auschwitz, their reunion after the Holocaust and the home they both built in Israel.

Sines Arts Center | For families | Bookings: servicoeducativoCAS@mun-sines.pt 15h00: 2026 Calendar Personalization Workshop, by Ana Júlia Simões and André Plácido The workshop promotes creativity, well-being, personal expression and results in a useful and decorative final piece - also ideal as a gift. Each participant will create a completely personalized calendar for the new year, exploring painting, collage and visual composition techniques. Participants will also have the option of bringing personal photographs (printed) to include in the calendar. This option makes it possible to create a more affective and unique piece, with personal memories and the true "mark" of each participant. 16h30: Presentation of the "Survival Manual for Restless Minds", by Inês Espada Nobre This book is an invitation to return to the essential, to find presence in small gestures and to create rituals that bring us back to the now. Between simplicity, vulnerability and daily intentions, Inês Espada Nobre shares a path to living more lightly. It's a return to Sines - the land where her family began - to celebrate a book that was born out of everyday life, care and the desire to inhabit life with more awareness.

Cas - Auditorium | 9:30 p.m. | Free with ticket pick-up | Sines City Council Org. After the success of the ep "Mais Vale Tarde", Martim Seabra releases "Vida Selvagem", his second album. In Martim's words: "With this album I complete the musical ideology I've been developing, where the guiding thread of my projects doesn't necessarily have to be their musical style, but rather the aura and sonority that becomes clearer throughout each track". The album was first unveiled in February 2025 with the single "Canção de Embalar", a romantic ballad that the Lisbon artist considers to be the most Portuguese song he has written to date. "Tudo o que Disseste" and "Bela Mar", released in 2022 and 2023, are the artist's first projects in Portuguese. Until then, Martim's discography can be heard in English on "The Days Are Just Packed", his first album.

Born in Setúbal, she studied Visual Arts at the Manuel da Fonseca Secondary School in Santiago do Cacém. She moved to Lisbon and graduated in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon (2020-2023), where she became interested in stone and ceramics and deepened her understanding of concepts such as contrasting shapes, balance and textures.
