Art in the Holocaust" exhibition

An exhibition of works from the Yad Vashem collection, created during the Holocaust, between 1939 and 1945, by 20 Jewish artists. With different artistic styles, they represent aspects of the authors' lives, feelings and aspirations, and highlight the role of art as a form of resistance.

While a prisoner in Auschwitz, Ovadia met Aliza Tzarfati, a young Jewish woman from his homeland, and despite the inhumane conditions, a love story was born between them. The film tells this story of love and survival in Auschwitz, their reunion after the Holocaust and the home they both built in Israel.
