This initiative is presented in a different format from previous editions, with two new categories: "Sons sem Sombra" (Sounds without Shadow), for new talent in music, and "Serviço à Comunidade/Cooperação Internacional" (Community Service/International Cooperation). These distinctions are added to the three traditional categories of the Festival: Music, Cultural Heritage, and Biodiversity Conservation.
