  Exhibition Opening

  “Por Baixo da Figueira" [Under the Fig Tree] is a group exhibition bringing together the work and journeys of three local artists who have worked in close connection with the landscape we all inhabit and are part of. Mariana Sobral and Anna Daley have spent the past six months in residence at Cultivamos Cultura, while Diana Aires created a series of workshops with the Vila Nova de Milfontes School Group. Their practices intersect through collective processes, where things happen together. We hope to see you at Cultivamos Cultura on Friday, September 25th, at 6pm for a moment of sharing and the opening of the exhibition.

  From Here & There

  Aqui & Ali is an exhibition that shows some of the results that have been developed over a series of workshops with schools in the municipality of Odemira. Part of the Culture and Education Biennial #2, it aims to explore some avenues for the theme ‘And instead of fear?’, presenting reinterpretations of the landscape around us through collages, cut-outs, cyanotypes, monotypes, micro-landscapes and drawings that tell stories of children, young people, leaves, stones and microorganisms that inhabit this territory. Special thanks to the schools that welcomed us: Colos School Group, Sabóia School Group, Vila Nova de Milfontes School Group, and Colégio Nossa Senhora da Graça.aça.
