ℹ️ New management for the Brunheiras Market

The Parish Council of Vila Nova de Milfontes informs market vendors and the public that it will take over the management of the Brunheiras Market with the support of its staff and the GNR.

After evaluating the monthly costs associated with the security company and the revenue generated by the market, it was determined that maintaining this contract was not financially viable.

Accordingly, all rules set forth in the Vila Nova de Milfontes Parish Regulations on Street Vending, Markets, and Fairs will remain in effect, including the admission and collection of fees and the allocation of stalls to market vendors.

As the upcoming markets will be a transition period, the Parish Council appeals for and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of the market vendors and the public.

We look forward to seeing you this Saturday, April 11.

    We are in Milfontes every Thursday from 7 p.m., serving you tasty "Birria" tacos (slow-cooked meat), "Quesadillas," Flame Grilled Beef TACO "Carne Assada", Crispy prawn tacos and our latest addition Octopus Taco with a smokey and spicey salsa Macha! And, of course, our customers' favourites: crispy fish tacos with Chipotle Cole Slaw or Tartar Sauce. We also have Mexican-themed drinks, such as Margaritas and Coronas! Latin music + other good music all night long!     At the tip of the Canal, between the road and the Atlantic, to the SOUTH.CO kicks off with a night of house, electro, minimal, and breaks, carefully curated and played one track after another. KaMpfumo opens at 10 p.m., Octo takes over at midnight, and Gazco follows starting at 2 a.m. Some people dance as if they were tearing fabric: without ceremony, but with precision. The needle drops, the bass hits the floor, and the body feels it before the mind does. In the Alentejo, even haste learns to dance sideways.
