  Maria Reis

In Session #08 of the Fura-pastos Sessions, we welcomed Maria Reis, one of the most beloved and respected songwriters in the Portuguese indie scene. Co-founder of the Lisbon-based collective label Cafetra, she was also co-leader of Pega Monstro alongside her sister Júlia Reis; the band’s indefinite hiatus paved the way for a prolific solo career. “Estagnação,” “Teoria da Conspiração,” “Balúrdio,” and “Elefante na Sala” are some of the tracks in which she explores language in a feminine, honest, and raw way, set to simple and direct rock songs. As usual, dinner is available before the concert for those who wish (by reservation) 🍽️ Dinner (includes concert admission): 20€ 🎟️ Admission: 5€ (free admission for those under 18) (m/06 📌 🍴Dinner Reservations: reservaescaldao@gmail.com 📌 🎟️ Concert Reservations: bazarulho@gmail.com

  Fura-pastos session #06 with vaiapraia

Fura-pastos session #06 with vaiapraia! 🔥 Rodrigo Vaiapraia presents "Alegria Terminal", an album of simple but powerful songs, with sonic explosions when they are needed and lyrics that purge love and make social criticism a subject that still matters.🤘 In the effervescent garage/punk/post-punk/indie whirlwind, commanded by the voice sung, shouted, spoken and repeated, there is also room for calm and mesmerizing melodic moments. 🌈 The band includes Francisca Ribeiro (aka Chica); Beatriz Diniz (aka April Marmara and also bassist for Cave Story) and Ana Farinha (aka dj Candy Diaz). 🍽️ option with dinner: 20€ (includes dinner and concert ticket) Reservations required: reservaescaldao@gmail.com Time: 20h00 🎟️ concert only option: 5€ For ' 18 years old, admission is free.
