🧠 Mental Health Month | “Building Resilience: Maintaining Emotional Balance in Everyday Life”

On October 30, 2026, the Sines Arts Center will host the training session “Building Resilience: Maintaining Emotional Balance in Everyday Life,” as part of the “Learning Outside the Classroom 2.0” project, sponsored by the Municipality of Sines, and in celebration of Mental Health Month.

This initiative aims to promote the development of personal resilience and strategies for better emotional management in daily life.

Throughout the session, participants will be invited to reflect on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors; to recognize thought patterns that may hinder emotional management; and to explore alternative responses for dealing with everyday challenges.

The workshop also includes the practice of mindfulness techniques, which contribute to emotional balance and the development of resilience.

    Integrated Himalayan Yoga

Integrated Himalayan Yoga classes are based on the recognition that Yoga is much more than physical postures. It is a journey of integrating the human being in all of her/his/their dimensions: body, energy, mind, and awareness. In my classes, I strive to offer a balanced and profound practice that encompasses a diversity of tools to work on the different layers of our being, from the densest to the most subtle, stimulating processes of internal transformation, balance, and expansion of consciousness. Depending on the intention of the practice, different techniques may be included, such as Hatha Vinyasa, Pranayama, Kriya, Kundalini, Mantras, Mudras, Yogic Wisdom, and Meditation. If this resonates with you, join me on the mat, in Sines, in Centro UniSer. - Sessions on Mondays at 18:30-19:45 & Tuesdays at 07:30-08:45 Classes in Portuguese. Booking is essential.
