A visual and documentary manifesto that sheds light on the often-invisible reality of informal caregivers. The exhibition is the result of a challenge launched by the Biopsychosocial Care Team for the Elderly of the Municipality of Alfândega da Fé, with the goal of giving a face, a voice, and dignity to those who set aside their own lives to care for others. Comprising 72 photographs, the collection documents the daily lives of patients and their caregivers in various locations throughout the municipality of Alfândega da Fé, capturing moments of extreme exhaustion, but also of deep affection. Nuno Pinto Fernandes is a Portuguese photojournalist recognized for his work that emphasizes human connection and documentary rigor.
