A one-thousandth-of-a-second snapshot of the dedication of every informal caregiver to their caregiving—24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

A visual and documentary manifesto that sheds light on the often-invisible reality of informal caregivers.

The exhibition is the result of a challenge launched by the Biopsychosocial Care Team for the Elderly of the Municipality of Alfândega da Fé, with the goal of giving a face, a voice, and dignity to those who set aside their own lives to care for others.

Comprising 72 photographs, the collection documents the daily lives of patients and their caregivers in various locations throughout the municipality of Alfândega da Fé, capturing moments of extreme exhaustion, but also of deep affection.

Nuno Pinto Fernandes is a Portuguese photojournalist recognized for his work that emphasizes human connection and documentary rigor. Throughout his career, he has covered major national and international events, with a particular focus on the humanitarian refugee crisis in Europe.

    Integrated Himalayan Yoga

Integrated Himalayan Yoga classes are based on the recognition that Yoga is much more than physical postures. It is a journey of integrating the human being in all of her/his/their dimensions: body, energy, mind, and awareness. In my classes, I strive to offer a balanced and profound practice that encompasses a diversity of tools to work on the different layers of our being, from the densest to the most subtle, stimulating processes of internal transformation, balance, and expansion of consciousness. Depending on the intention of the practice, different techniques may be included, such as Hatha Vinyasa, Pranayama, Kriya, Kundalini, Mantras, Mudras, Yogic Wisdom, and Meditation. If this resonates with you, join me on the mat, in Sines, in Centro UniSer. - Sessions on Mondays at 18:30-19:45 & Tuesdays at 07:30-08:45 Classes in Portuguese. Booking is essential.
