Ricardo Marques is a self-taught artisan and artist, and the founder of the Elfic Woodworks project, which is dedicated to wood sculpture and handcrafted woodwork.
His work stems from a direct relationship with the material, where each piece is hand-carved, respecting the wood’s natural rhythm and revealing simple, organic, and vibrant forms.
In his workshops, he shares not only woodcarving techniques but also a sensitive approach to hands-on creation, inviting each participant to slow down, feel, and create with mindfulness.
At Espaço Nativa, she invites you to the “Introduction to Woodcarving” Workshop, a hands-on experience where creativity and connection with nature come together through movement and tools.

✨ rebirthing breathwork ✨ After a long summer break, I’m so happy to be opening the doors again and reconnecting with our breathwork community at Lazuz, in Lameiros. ❤️ 🌿 Monday, 21st September 10:30am – approx. 1pm 📍 Lazuz, Lameiros This session is an invitation to pause, breathe, and come back home to yourself. Maybe your summer has involved a lot of working, caretaking, travelling, or tending to other people’s needs. Maybe you’re ready to recharge your batteries, reconnect with your own needs and desires, or simply create some space to listen inward. Through the power of your own breath, we can begin to release what has become stuck, reconnect with the body, support a more regulated nervous system and open space for whatever is ready to be felt, explored or released. Breathwork can be a profound journey of coming back to yourself, reconnecting with your heart, your aliveness, your pleasure, your health, your direction and your deeper sense of purpose. Your breath knows where to take you. The session is held in a safe, supportive and trauma-informed container, with space to explore at your own pace. 1.5-hour yoga classes inspired by Hatha Yoga, Integral Yoga, and Yoga Therapy. The classes consist of a meditative portion, breathing exercises, a physical portion with movements (asanas), and guided relaxation. Classes are open to everyone without serious health issues.
