🔅A Mother’s Courage🔆
Based on a text by George Tabori, we tell the story of how the author’s mother escaped the concentration camps—with humor, love, and intelligence—while navigating some of the absurdities of authoritarian regimes.

On Friday, August 14, there will be a party at the nbzm headquarters! This party is also meant to help us raise some extra money to cover the expenses we’ll have for the “Zambujeira Bodyboard Festival 2026”! Everyone is invited to come, and bring your friends! The lineup will be well worth it... We’ll have live music featuring Zairo (hip-hop) and California Reggae Movement (acoustic covers: Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Bob Marley, etc.)... Then the music continues with DJs...! Starting with an “Open Deck” set with a reggae/hip-hop vibe... And then moving on to electronic music, featuring Xitãozinho and Natal Carnaval. Admission is free, but you can support the club by buying from our bar, where we’ll have drinks and snacks available for everyone, as well as club merchandise! Spread the word and come on by!
