19th edition of the Neighbors' Festival
19th Annual Neighbors’ Festival On May 22 (Friday), the 19th Annual Neighbors’ Festival will take place in Vila Nova de Santo André, starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Market parking lot. An opportunity to meet neighbors, share a moment of fellowship, and foster community solidarity to celebrate World Neighbors Day. 20th edition of "Contos Traquinas"
The xxth edition of “Contos Traquinas” will take place on April 18, as part of International Children’s Book Day. To celebrate children’s and young adult literature with our youngest readers, we will be hosting various activities at the Manuel José “do Tojal” Municipal Library in Vila Nova de Santo André. Program 10:30 a.m. – “Animated and illustrated pop-up books” – Illustration workshop led by Nic and Inês Target audience: children ages 3 to 12, limit of 12 participants Advance registration required via email at smba@cm-santiagocacem.pt or at the service desks of municipal libraries. 3:30 PM – “Books Up High” – Storytime with a display of unique books by Nic and Inês Hands up… and books too! Nic and Inês arrive with books like you’ve never seen before: handmade, giant, interactive, and full of magic. 🎶This Saturday is yours!... "Sound by sound, tone by tone" The Manuel José "do Tojal" Municipal Library in Vila Nova de Santo André will host the baby activity "Sound by sound, tone by tone" on February 28 at 4:00 p.m., led by Tomás Cruz (Mais Cultura Production Company), as part of another edition of "This Saturday is yours!.." A sensory and musical experience specially designed for families with babies aged 3 months to 3 years, where sounds, rhythms, and sharing create unique moments of discovery and connection. Through games, play, and sound exploration, children discover where sound comes from, how it transforms and gives rise to rhythm, words, and stories. In addition to awakening musical sensitivity, the workshop strengthens family bonds and proposes new ways of playing and communicating that can be carried over into everyday life. Halloween alsab na Costa de Santo André
Halloween alsab on the Costa de Santo André 🎃 On November 1st, starting at 10pm, Halloween night will be held at the headquarters of the Sports, Recreational and Cultural Association of Lagoa de Santo André and Brescos - alsab (former Costa de Santo André Primary School). Lurking in the darkness, alsab is transformed into a terrifying space where the Halloween spirit will be felt from the decorations to the animation and hauntings. For kids and adults alike, it's all about shaking out the skeletons and shaking off the webs. Trick-or-treating is not forgotten. Come along! 🎃 Organized by the Sports, Recreational and Cultural Association of Lagoa de Santo André and Brescos, with support from Santiago do Cacém Town Council, Santo André Parish Council and Repsol.
