Workshop | Drawing Animals and Nature

In this workshop, the goal is to discover nature through drawing!

On October 17, Observalagunas 2026 is hosting the workshop “Drawing Animals and Nature,” an activity for children and adults interested in discovering nature through drawing.

Through observation and on-site drawing, participants will be invited to depict animals and natural elements, explore shapes, proportions, and techniques for capturing the essence of what they see, and transform their observations into drawings—an experience that combines creativity with an understanding of biodiversity.

This hands-on and accessible workshop is suitable for all experience levels; no prior drawing experience is required.

The activity will be led by Tiago Albuquerque, an instructor and illustrator, and Nádia Albuquerque.

    "Equality in Your Hands" Walk

    As part of the celebration of Municipal Equality Day, the “Equality in Your Hands” walk will take place on October 25 at 9:00 a.m. in Vila Nova de Santo André (next to the carnation statue in Central Park). This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of equality, inclusion, and respect for diversity, promoting a more just and inclusive community. Participation requires registration by October 16. Here the vinyasas are counted in Sanskrit and a steady paced is maintained to keep the flow of the class At the end of the class we practice a set sequence of pranayama This class is best for those already practicing Mysore or Ashtanga for some years and who know how to modify. Note: Booking one day in advance is necessary. Cancellations on the day will have to pay the class price.
