Synopsis: The final chapter in the story of the witches of Oz, Elphaba and Glinda. Estranged, they live the consequences of their choices.
Elphaba, demonized as the Wicked Witch of the West, lives in exile, hiding in the forest of Oz, while continuing her fight for the freedom of the silenced animals of Oz and trying to expose the truth about the Wizard of Oz.
Glinda, who has become the shining symbol of goodness for the whole of Oz, lives in the palace of the Emerald City and revels in fame and popularity.
On Madame Morrible's instructions, Glinda is sent to convey comfort to Oz, assuring the masses that all is well under the Wizard's rule.
As Glinda's success increases and her marriage to Prince Fiyero is prepared, she is haunted by Elphaba's separation. She tries to mediate a reconciliation between Elphaba and the Wizard of Oz, but her efforts fail, pushing them further apart.
The consequences will transform Boq and Fiyero forever and threaten the safety of Nessarose, Elphaba's sister, when a girl from Kansas breaks into her world...
