At Casa Novo Bowing's Sewing Room, we don't iron. That's why Engomadoria Novo Bowing was created: a space for learning, sharing, and practical support, where the iron also becomes a tool for meeting people, passing on knowledge, and developing skills.
Open to anyone who wants to learn, practice, experiment, or ask for occasional support, Engomadoria Novo Bowing welcomes people interested in ironing together or receiving help with this everyday task. Support is provided by Reka D C, a woman living in Odemira, originally from Nepal, who puts her knowledge at the service of the community in a friendly and caring environment.
Engomadoria Novo Bowing thus asserts itself as a space for experimentation, vocational guidance, and training, where everyday skills can take on new meanings and pave the way for sustainable entrepreneurial paths. This activity is part of the LABOR axis of the Novo Bowing project.
