Maravilha Beach Festival

Organized by
Freguesia de Odeceixe - Aljezur
Odeceixe Beach is gearing up for two days of music, sports, and socializing with another edition of the Festa da Praia Maravilha, scheduled for September 11 and 12.
With free admission, the event—organized by the Aljezur City Council—is billed as the “last big summer party,” bringing concerts and sports activities to one of the most iconic settings on the Costa Vicentina.
The festival kicks off on Friday, September 11, with David Antunes as one of the headliners of the musical lineup. After the concert, the fun continues with DJ Tobyone, on a night designed to keep the party atmosphere going right on the beach.
On Saturday, the 12th, the music changes its sound and takes on strong reggae influences. The stage will host “Quem é o Bob?”, a Bob Marley tribute project announced by the organizers as a way to “spread good vibes.” The evening will also feature a performance by Kooyah Sound.
But the Festa da Praia Maravilha isn’t just about concerts. The program also includes seaside sports activities, combining recreation with music and aiming to engage diverse audiences over the course of the two days.
The organizers specifically highlight the combination of “music, sports, local culture, and the strong sense of community” in a festival that once again takes place against the backdrop of Odeceixe Beach.
The event also holds symbolic significance on the local calendar, as it takes place near the end of the summer season.
The idea is to enjoy the last warm nights by the sea and make the festival a farewell to summer, bringing together residents and visitors.
“Invite your family, gather your friends, and come celebrate with us another unforgettable edition of the Odeceixe Maravilha Beach Festival,” the organizers urge.
Admission to the Odeceixe Maravilha Beach Festival is free.
