“Sopros e Guitarradas” is the debut album by musician Kajó Soares, who blends the tradition of fado with the saxophone—both in instrumental pieces and in combination with fado vocals—in a high-quality, diverse, and innovative performance that is sure to captivate the audience. In this performance, the musician and singer invites two more voices from the new generation of fado singers, thus creating a fado show that draws from the essence of Lisbon’s traditional songs and extends into the contemporary landscape of Portuguese music.
