Synopsis: In the heart of the Swiss Alps, cheerful Heidi enjoys a carefree life with her grandfather surrounded by verdant pastures and vertiginous peaks. When she rescues an injured lynx cub caught in the trap of a scheming businessman, Mr. Schnaitinger, Heidi names it Little Balls and takes care of it in secret.

But when the cub's antics attract unwanted attention, Heidi discovers Schnaitinger's true plans, which threaten the entire Alpine ecosystem. With her loyal friend Peter and the devoted St. Bernard Josef, Heidi embarks on a daring journey to return Dumplings to his wild family before it's too late. Along the way, she encounters natural dangers, corporate greed and the strength of friendship.
