Luso 7sóis-25 (Cape Verde, Spain, Italy, Morocco, Portugal)
An original project of the Sete Sóis Sete Luas Festival, Luso 7sóis-25 brings together musicians from Cape Verde, Spain, Italy, Morocco and Portugal. Each artist brings their own tradition and together they build new, vibrant music that is faithful to the values of cultural dialogue and artistic exchange. The musical director is the prestigious Portuguese musician Rui Ferreira (piano, bass). The other participants are Gnawa singer Hind Ennaira (Morocco), historic Cape Verdean singer Teté Alhino, Italian mandolin virtuoso Mimmo Epifani, drum maestro David León (Ceuta, Spain) and Portuguese harmonica virtuoso Ricardo Santos.
