Mercearia 27 welcomes Sofia Pires (@sofiamargalhap), a young fado singer from Vidigueira, Alentejo, who has won over audiences and judges with the strength of her interpretation. She started singing fado as a teenager and quickly made a name for herself, winning the 9th edition of the "Amália Rodrigues" Fado Contest in 2023.
Her participation in The Voice Portugal, where she won all the seats, gave her even greater visibility, confirming the authenticity and emotion she brings to the stage.
This Wednesday, she joins Joana Luz (@joana.luz.fado), Bruno Mira (@brumiraguitar) and Carlos Soares da Silva (@carlos.soaresdasilva.5), on a night dedicated to feeling and Portuguese roots.
