Casa Novo Bowing is hosting a new "Death Café," an open and informal gathering to talk about death and dying in a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment.
A "Death Café" is not a lecture or a bereavement support group, although grief and emotions may naturally be shared. It is a space for free conversation, where questions, fears, curiosities, and reflections are met with attentive listening and a diversity of perspectives.
Around the table, with hot tea, cake, and small snacks, a time for sharing is created.
The meeting is led by the House of Transition collective, which, under the name Entre Mundos, regularly develops initiatives for dialogue around death in the Odemira region.
