Folk parades return to Ourique with a children’s parade
The folk parades return to Ourique on June 19, at Praça Padre António Pereira. This year’s edition includes, for the first time, a children’s parade for elementary school students in the municipality. Registration is open until May 25!
For the first time, the youngest participants will join the parade, broadening participation and introducing a generational dimension to the initiative.
The initiative maintains its usual format, bringing together participants in a parade dedicated to popular culture. In previous editions, it also featured guest parades from other municipalities.
The theme for the 2026 edition is still a secret. It will be revealed in due course and promises, as always, to surprise. Stay tuned to our channels.
