‼ Early event: World Tango Day celebrations
The World Tango Day celebrations at the Sines Arts Center have been brought forward from December 11 to December 9 (Tuesday).
The times and locations of the two commemorative initiatives remain the same.
👉 At 6pm, in the exhibition center, Ana Isa Figueira will lead an open Argentine tango class, with free registration by emailing servicoeducativoCAS@mun-sines.pt.
👉 At 9.30 p.m., the auditorium hosts a concert by Martín Sued & Orquestra Assintomática, free of charge with a ticket.
ℹ Martín Sued & Orquestra Assintomática is an instrumental sextet led by bandoneonist Martín Sued. Created in 2020, the group presents a repertoire of original compositions for a formation that includes the characteristic instruments of a traditional tango formation, but uses these roots to move beyond the boundaries of the genre.
📀 They were recently nominated for a Latin Grammy in the category of Best Instrumental Album of 2025, with the album "Saga", recorded in collaboration with Yamandu Costa.
