Produced by the Municipality of Sines and directed by Cláudio Jordão (KotoStudios), this animated film suggests an innovative approach to the figure of the Portuguese navigator and his first voyage to India, in a visual language inspired by traditional Portuguese tiles. The narrative begins with the 1497 expedition led by Vasco da Gama under the orders of King Manuel I, and focuses on the human, political, and natural challenges faced by the crew.
