From January 23 to February 8, 2026, the 11th edition of the Lagoa de Santo André Eel Festival - Gastronomic Exhibition in Restaurants will be held, where visitors can enjoy the best flavors of this magnificent delicacy, which is eel.
For 17 days, visitors can enjoy the best flavors of this magnificent delicacy. Eel stew, stew, fried or grilled, with the most diverse accompaniments are all dishes that come to the table, to the delight of all those who come to taste the dishes, from the traditional to those created by chefs.
The aim of the Festival is to boost the local economy through gastronomy and this product of excellence, the eel from Lagoa de Santo André.
