What is the connection between plants and music? Could the cultivation of sugarcane, cotton, or tobacco be at the origin of jazz, capoeira, and the blues?

Let’s discover these and other stories about plants that changed history. Plants that have traveled far—plants we grow and consume in Portugal but that were brought from distant lands, such as sunflowers, pumpkins, tomatoes, and more.

Based on the book of the same title, this is an integrative and interactive workshop where participants can touch, taste, and smell the plants—and at the end, take home some geranium or boldo cuttings, or sunflower seeds and other seeds.

    Integrated Himalayan Yoga classes are based on the recognition that Yoga is much more than physical postures. It is a journey of integrating the human being in all of her/his/their dimensions: body, energy, mind, and awareness. In my classes, I strive to offer a balanced and profound practice that encompasses a diversity of tools to work on the different layers of our being, from the densest to the most subtle, stimulating processes of internal transformation, balance, and expansion of consciousness. Depending on the intention of the practice, different techniques may be included, such as Hatha Vinyasa, Pranayama, Kriya, Kundalini, Mantras, Mudras, Yogic Wisdom, and Meditation.
