Synopsis: After years of absence, Agnès and Nora reunite with their father, Gustav, a charismatic director who was once well known. Gustav offers Nora, a theater actress, the lead role in his new film, but she turns it down. Hurt, Gustav decides to give the role to a young Hollywood star, reawakening old wounds and reigniting tensions in a delicate web of family relationships.
