Description
The Sancha Lagoon and its surroundings are perhaps the most unknown areas of the Santo André and Sancha Lagoons Nature Reserve. Nestled in dune valleys and almost inaccessible, Sancha is surrounded by important habitats of the Natura 2000 network, where there are true relics of flora and vegetation, from coastal scrub with Atlantic elements, rich in endemic and rare plants, to juniper trees dominated by the mysterious piorro. the history of the hidden lagoon is also linked to birds and the creation of the rnlsas, and has given rise to many local myths...let's discover them?!
Objectives
To raise awareness of the Nature Reserve;
To promote (re)knowledge of the region's natural and landscape values;
Raise awareness of nature conservation and biodiversity;
Encourage outdoor activities.
