Melides Hosts the Italian Gmo Orchestra

Melides Welcomes the Italian Orchestra GMO

On August 7, at 9:30 p.m., the Amphitheater at Melides Children’s Park will host the concert “Musica senza confini” (Music Without Borders), presented by the Italian Orchestra of Young Musicians of the Ossola Valley (GMO).

As part of the orchestra’s tour of Portugal, this performance offers a musical journey through different cultures, celebrating music as a universal language and a bridge between peoples and communities.

Founded in 2001 by conductor Alberto Lanza, the GMO Orchestra comprises approximately 50 musicians and has performed nearly 500 concerts throughout Europe over the past 25 years.

The Melides Parish Council invites the entire community and all visitors to join us for this evening dedicated to music, culture, and sharing.
