Next Sunday, June 7, Santa Margarida da Serra will once again host another edition of the Feira da Serra – Despertar d' Verão, an initiative organized by the Despert'Alfazema Association that aims to celebrate the arrival of summer, support local producers and artisans, and strengthen community ties in our village.

A gathering of community, tradition, and celebration of the arrival of summer, in the heart of the Serra de Grândola.

Throughout the day, in addition to crafts, secondhand items, fruits & vegetables, and local products, we will also have activities open to the community:

🌿 10:30 AM – Workshop > Nourish Your Skin, with Linda Barreiro @receitaparatudo

A session on nutrition, natural cosmetics, and self-care habits to nourish the skin from the inside out, featuring practical and simple recipes.

€10 per registration (includes making a natural cosmetic)*

🥁 11:30 AM – Parents & Children Activity > Capoeira Class, with João “Batman”

A class open to children, families, and participants of all ages to discover the joy, musicality, and movement of Capoeira Angola.

€10 per participant (adult + child)*

🐟 12:00 PM – Traditional Sardine Feast

Open to the community, with food and socializing at Largo da Feira. Prices available on-site.

🪗 2:30 PM – Live Music > Os Moços do Cante

Two young men united by friendship and a love for Alentejo folk singing, helping to keep this tradition alive among new generations.

🪁 Guided Tour of the Lavender Garden

Open to families and visitors interested in exploring the space and the educational project.
