A journey in search of the sounds of tradition, what it means and, above all, what makes it up...
A film about Odemira's Traditional Music, focusing on local artists (singers, instrument builders, composers, choirboys), and local and regional fashions, crossed with professional musicians from other geographies and artistic aesthetics, who have jointly created new compositions fusing local tradition with other universes.
Transforming and perpetuating both, without crystallising them, so that they can continue to be a mirror of our identity.
Encounters allow us to reinforce it, because in diversity we find what reflects us most clearly.
So let's embark on this journey of encounters
