Death cafe

We warmly welcome YOU to our next DEATH CAFE !

It is happening on the 08.01.2026 and with the kind support of the team from CASA NOVO BOWING ODEMIRA we will provide a save and cozy container for us to share and listen.

A „Death Café“ is not a lecture nor a death support group - though grief may be expressed and shared. It is a conversation about death and dying - So…let s come together, have a hot cup of tea , eat cake and savory, fingerfood and talk!

Due to winter time we decided to start and end earlier so please arrive by 17:30 - we will end the Cafe around 19:30. As we gather in a smaller room we kindly ask for your registration to know how many people we can fit.

Entrance to the venue is via RUA JOAO DE DEUS, 9 enter the premises walk up to 1st floor and follow the signs .

We are „HOUSE OF TRANSITION“ - a collective of women feeling the call to bring a light on the theme that unites us all - we are passionate about creating different events related to death work under the name „Entre Mundos“ and we regularly hold Death Cafés in the wider area of Odemira.

Vai acontecer no dia 08.01.2026 e, com o gentil apoio da equipa da CASA NOVO BOWING ODEMIRA, iremos proporcionar um espaço seguro e acolhedor para partilharmos e escutarmos uns aos outros.

Um “Death Café” não é uma palestra nem um grupo de apoio ao luto – embora o luto possa ser expresso e compartilhado. É uma conversa sobre a morte e o morrer. Portanto… vamos juntar-nos, beber um chá bem quente, comer bolo, salgados, e conversar!

Devido ao inverno decidimos começar e terminar mais cedo, por isso, por favor cheguem às 17:30 – terminaremos o Café por volta das 19:30. Como nos vamos reunir numa sala mais pequena, pedimos gentilmente a vossa inscrição para sabermos quantas pessoas podemos receber.

A entrada para o local é pela RUA JOÃO DE DEUS, 9 – entrem no espaço, subam ao 1.º andar e sigam as indicações.

Nós somos a “HOUSE OF TRANSITION” – um coletivo de mulheres que sente o chamado para trazer luz ao tema que nos une a todos. Somos apaixonadas por criar diferentes eventos relacionados com o trabalho em torno da morte sob o nome “Entre Mundos” e realizamos regularmente Death Cafés na região mais ampla de Odemira.
