    Luso 7sóis-26 (Cape Verde, La Réunion, Italy, Morocco, Portugal) Concert presented with the support of DG Artes This original production by the sssl Festival features six renowned artists from a wide variety of musical cultures rooted in the countries of the Sete Só. The diverse spirits of the Mediterranean and the Portuguese-speaking world come together in this orchestra: artists from La Réunion, Italy, Portugal, Morocco, and Cape Verde. The repertoire of Luso 7Sóis-26 blends traditional songs, original compositions, and new arrangements from these various countries. A long and fascinating journey that explores Portuguese folk music with accordionist Hugo Osga and Fado singer Beatriz Felício; the rhythms of southern Italy under the musical direction of bouzouki player Stefano Saletti; Cape Verdean melodies with Hernani Almeida on bass, Moroccan harmonies with oud player Hamza Bouklifi, and percussion from the island of La Réunion performed by musician Sami Pageaux.
