This year, King Manuel I is arriving earlier in Alvalade and bringing something new with him: before setting out in procession through the town’s streets, there will be a Royal Banquet. On Saturday, September 19, at 12:00 p.m., get ready to welcome King Manuel I and his entourage at Buraco do Rey. At 12:30 p.m., the Royal Banquet will be served, with a reception for official dignitaries and the townspeople, before the King and his entourage set off for the grand Royal Procession. And in a year when we’re traveling “From Ailment to Cure,” one thing is certain: even a Rey knows that, before any cure, one must treat the ailment… hunger! 👑 Come welcome El-Rey. 🍷 Come to the Royal Banquet. 🎺 And join his entourage through the streets of Alvalade.
