This Saturday, Saboia hosts another edition of the cultural event aldeias à vista.
The first stage is at 5pm, with the theatrical adaptation of "No Meu Bairro", based on the original book by Lúcia Vicente, by Sociedade das Primas - Associação Cultural.
A "Story Time" staged by Beatriz Teodósio, with Beatriz Teodósio and Fred Botta, which mixes theater, music and literature to talk about diversity, equality and inclusion in a way that is accessible to children and inspiring for everyone.

No Meu Bairro is the original book by Lúcia Vicente and a theatrical adaptation produced by Sociedade das Primas - Associação Cultural, directed by Beatriz Teodósio. This "Story Time" features selected excerpts from the book, read by Beatriz Teodósio and Fred Botta (Sociedade das Primas).
No Meu Bairro brings together theater, music and literature to tell the story of a different Bairro, with houses of different colors and shapes. But it's not just the houses that are different, but also the people who live in them. In this neighborhood, people live in equality and fairness. The children are very friendly and respect everyone equally. One day, they even had the idea of writing the Manifesto of Differences, because they had the dream of changing the neighborhood (and the world).
The reading is based on a verse text that talks about very important issues with children, without underestimating their ability to understand these topics that are so important for life in a plural society. Join us in this ode to freedom, diversity and inclusion!
