On November 9, 2025, the 9th edition of the TransAct Lat Trail Costa Vicentina will be held with the support of the Municipalities of Santiago do Cacém and Sines and organized by GanharDestak.

It will take place along the beautiful and unique Rota Vicentina footpath between Santiago do Cacém and Porto Covo, at a distance of 57k+, starting at 8.15am at the Igreja Matriz in Santiago do Cacém.

Starting at 9.30am in the center of Cercal do Alentejo, the runners set off for an intermediate distance of 30k+ to Porto Covo.

At 10 a.m., a shorter distance of 15k+ starts between Sonega and Porto Covo.

On the same day there is a non-competitive guided walk on a circular 10k+ route in Cercal do Alentejo starting at 9am, also on the Rota Vicentina.

The registration fee for the walk will go entirely to the Cercal do Alentejo Volunteer Fire Brigade. It will be done on foot and there will be no time limit to finish.

The event is certified by the Trail Running Association of Portugal.
